SPONTANEOUS POTENTIAL

The Self-Potential (SP) method is based on the measurement of the natural potential between two points on the syrface where a natural current exists by concentration of electrolytic solutions. For the measures of the spontaneous potentials that can be produced by electrochemical reactions, are used non-polarising porous pot electrodes, with one fixed and th other one moved along profiles to create a grid.
